S. C. Surgical emphysema, scrotum

This 45 year old male was involved in RTA. He had multiple fracture ribs on the right side with hemo-pneumothorax.

Intercostal drainage tube with additional hole was inserted to drain the hemo-pneumothorax.

The tube had slipped out slightly at night and last hole became subcutaneously . He had developed subcutaneous surgical emphysema

at the anterior and lateral side of chest wall, extended  to anterior abdominal wall then trickled down to the scrotum.
